✧ Fasting on the Day of Ashura

أَخْبَرَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ قَالَ: أَخْبَرَنَا مَعْمَرٌ، عَنْ قَتَادَةَ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ مَعْبَدٍ، عَنْ أَبِي قَتَادَةَ قَالَ:
سُئِلَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ عَنْ صِيَامِ عَاشُورَاءَ فَقَالَ: " كَفَّارَةُ السَّنَةِ
Translation
✧ The Messenger of God ﷺ was asked about fasting on Ashura, and he said: 'It is an expiation for the year.'
