عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ، عَنِ الثَّوْرِيِّ، عَنْ عُثْمَانَ بْنِ حَكِيمٍ، عَنْ نُدْبَةَ مَوْلَاةٍ لِابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ قَالَتْ:
قَالَ ابْنُ عَبَّاسٍ يَوْمَ عَرَفَةَ: لَا يَصْحَبْنَا أَحَدٌ يُرِيدُ الصِّيَامَ فَإِنَّهُ يَوْمُ تَكْبِيرٍ وَأَكْلٍ وَشُرْبٍ قَالَ عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ: " وَنَهَانِي الثَّوْرِيُّ عَنْ صِيَامِ يَوْمِ التَّرْوِيَةِ، وَيَوْمِ عَرَفَةَ "
Translation
✧ Ibn Abbas said on the day of Arafah: 'No one intending to fast should accompany us, for it is a day of takbir, eating, and drinking.' Abd al-Razzaq said: 'Al-Thawri also forbade me from fasting the day of Tarwiyah and the day of Arafah.'
