✧ Fasting on the Day of Arafah

عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ، عَنِ الثَّوْرِيِّ، عَنْ عُرْوَةَ، وَعَنْ عَطَاءٍ قَالَ:
مَنْ أَفْطَرَ يَوْمَ عَرَفَةَ لِيَتَقَوَّى بِهِ عَلَى الدُّعَاءِ كَانَ لَهُ مِثْلُ أَجْرِ الصَّائِمِ
Translation
✧ Whoever breaks his fast on the day of Arafah in order to gain strength for supplication will have the like of the reward of a fasting person.
