Translation

✧ A'ishah and Hafsah woke up fasting, and food was gifted to them that they liked, so they broke their fast. When the Prophet ﷺ entered upon them, Hafsah hastened to him—she was her father's daughter—and asked the Prophet ﷺ, and he ordered them to fast one day in its place.
