✧ Wiping over the leather socks

عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ عَنِ ابْنِ جُرَيْجٍ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ نَحْوَ حَدِيثِ مَعْمَرٍ. قَالَ:
سَأَلْتُ ابْنَ طَاوُسٍ: كَيْفَ كَانَ أَبُوهُ يَقُولُ فِي الْمَسْحِ عَلَى الْخُفَّيْنِ ؟ فَقَالَ: كَانَ يُحَدِّثُ بِحَدِيثِ سَعْدٍ وَابْنِ عُمَرَ
Translation
✧ I asked Ibn Tawus: How did his father speak about wiping over the leather socks? He said, "He used to narrate the hadith of Sa'd and Ibn Umar."
