✧ Delaying the Sahur

عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ، عَنْ عُمَرَ بْنِ رَاشِدٍ، عَنْ يَحْيَى بْنِ أَبِي كَثِيرٍ عَنْ أَبِي حَازِمٍ، مَوْلَى الْأَنْصَارِ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ:
إِنَّ جُزْءًا مِنْ سَبْعِينَ جُزْءًا مِنَ النُّبُوَّةِ تَأْخِيرُ السُّحُورِ، وَتَبْكِيرُ الْفِطْرِ، وَإِشَارَةُ الرَّجُلِ بِإِصْبَعِهِ فِي الصَّلَاةِ
Translation
✧ Part of one of seventy parts of prophethood is delaying the predawn meal, hastening the breaking of the fast, and a man's pointing with his finger in prayer.
