عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ، عَنْ إِسْرَائِيلَ، عَنْ عَامِرِ بْنِ شَقِيقٍ، عَنْ شَقِيقِ بْنِ سَلَمَةَ قَالَ:
انْطَلَقْتُ أَنَا وَزِرُّ بْنُ حُبَيْشٍ إِلَى حُذَيْفَةَ، وَهُوَ فِي دَارِ الْحَارِثِ بْنِ أَبِي رَبِيعَةَ، فَاسْتَأْذَنَّا عَلَيْهِ، فَخَرَجَ إِلَيْنَا، فَأَتَى بِلَبَنٍ، فَقَالَ: " اشْرَبَا "، فَقُلْنَا إِنَّا نُرِيدُ الصِّيَامَ قَالَ: " وَأَنَا أُرِيدُ الصِّيَامَ "، فَشَرِبَ، ثُمَّ نَاوَلَ زِرًّا فَشَرِبَ، ثُمَّ نَاوَلَنِي فَشَرِبْتُ، وَالْمُؤَذِّنُ يُؤَذِّنُ فِي الْمَسْجِدِ قَالَ: " فَلَمَّا دَخَلْنَا الْمَسْجِدَ أُقِيمَتِ الصَّلَاةُ، وَهُمْ يُغَلِّسُونَ
Translation
✧ I went with Zirr b. Hubaysh to Hudhayfah, who was in the house of al-Harith b. Abi Rabi'ah. We sought permission to enter, and he came out to us. He brought milk and said: "Drink." We said: "We intend to fast." He said: "And I intend to fast." Then he drank, then handed it to Zirr, who drank, then handed it to me, and I drank, while the mu'adhdhin was calling the adhan in the mosque. He said: "When we entered the mosque, the prayer had commenced, and they were performing it in the dark before dawn."
