✧ Kissing for the fasting person

عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ، عَنْ مَالِكِ بْنِ أَنَسٍ، عَنْ أَبِي النَّضْرِ، عَنْ عَائِشَةَ ابْنَةِ طَلْحَةَ أَنَّهَا أَخْبَرَتْهُ

أَنَّهَا كَانَتْ عِنْدَ عَائِشَةَ زَوْجِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ، فَدَخَلَ عَلَيْهَا زَوْجُهَا، وَهُوَ عَبْدُ اللهِ بْنُ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ، وَهُوَ صَائِمٌ فِي رَمَضَانَ، فَقَالَتْ لَهُ عَائِشَةُ: مَا يَمْنَعُكَ مِنْ أَنْ تَدْنُوَ مِنْ أَهْلِكَ تُلَاعِبُهَا، وَتُقَبِّلُهَا ؟ قَالَ: أُقَبِّلُهَا وَأَنَا صَائِمٌ ؟ قَالَتْ: " نَعَمْ

Translation

✧ She was with ʿĀʾisha, the wife of the Prophet ﷺ, when her husband, ʿAbd Allāh b. ʿAbd al-Raḥmān, entered upon her; he was fasting in Ramadan. ʿĀʾisha said to him, “What prevents you from approaching your wife, playing with her, and kissing her?” He said, “Should I kiss her while I am fasting?” She said, “Yes.”
