✧ The man who rinses his mouth and sniffs water while fasting and water enters his throat

عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ، عَنِ الثَّوْرِيِّ، عَنْ أَبِي هَاشِمٍ، أَوْ غَيْرِهِ،
عَنْ إِبْرَاهِيمَ فِي الرَّجُلِ يَتَمَضْمَضُ وَهُوَ صَائِمٌ، فَيَدْخُلُ الْمَاءُ حَلْقَهُ، قَالَ: إِنْ كَانَ لِلْمَكْتُوبَةِ، فَلَيْسَ عَلَيْهِ قَضَاءٌ، وَإِنْ كَانَ تَطَوُّعًا فَعَلَيْهِ الْقَضَاءُ
Translation
✧ From Ibrahim regarding a man who rinses his mouth while fasting and water enters his throat: He said: If it was for the obligatory prayer, then he does not have to make it up; if it was voluntary, then he must make it up.
