عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ، عَنْ رَجُلٍ مِنْ أَهْلِ الْمَدِينَةِ، عَنْ إِسْحَاقَ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللهِ،
أَنَّ عُمَرَ بْنَ عَبْدِ الْعَزِيزِ: " كَانَ يُجِيزُ عَلَى رُؤْيَةِ الْهِلَالِ بِالصَّوْمِ رَجُلًا وَاحِدًا، وَلَا يُجِيزُ عَلَى الْفِطْرِ إِلَّا رَجُلَيْنِ
Translation
✧ Umar b. Abd al-Aziz used to accept a single man for the sighting of the crescent for fasting, but he did not accept fewer than two men for breaking the fast.
