✧ The people become fasting and the crescent has been sighted

عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ، عَنِ الثَّوْرِيِّ، عَنْ مَنْصُورٍ، عَنْ رِبْعِيٍّ، عَنْ بَعْضِ أَصْحَابِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ مِثْلَهُ، وَزَادَ، وَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ:
لَا تَتَقَدَّمُوا هِلَالَ هَذَا الشَّهْرِ حَتَّى تَرَوُا الْهِلَالَ، أَوْ تُكْمِلُوا الْعِدَّةَ قَبْلَهُ ثُمَّ صُومُوا، فَلَا تُفْطِرُوا حَتَّى تَرَوُا الْهِلَالَ أَوْ تُكْمِلُوا الْعِدَّةَ بَعْدَهُ
Translation
✧ Do not anticipate the crescent of this month until you see the crescent or complete the number before it. Then fast, and do not break the fast until you see the crescent or complete the number after it.
