✧ The people become fasting and the crescent has been sighted

عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ، عَنِ الثَّوْرِيِّ، عَنْ مَنْصُورٍ، عَنْ رِبْعِيِّ بْنِ حِرَاشٍ، عَنْ بَعْضِ أَصْحَابِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ قَالَ:
أَصْبَحَ النَّاسُ صِيَامًا عَلَى عَهْدِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ فَجَاءَ أَعْرَابِيَّانِ فَشَهِدَا بِاللهِ الَّذِي لَا إِلَهَ إِلَّا هُوَ، قَالَا: كَذَلِكَ لَرَأَيْنَاهُ بِالْأَمْسِ فَأَمَرَ النَّبِيُّ ﷺ النَّاسَ فَأَفْطَرُوا
Translation
✧ The people began the day fasting in the time of the Prophet ﷺ. Then two bedouins came and testified by Allah, besides whom there is no god, saying: “We saw it yesterday.” The Prophet ﷺ ordered the people, and they broke the fast.
