✧ What the Sky Waters

عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ، عَنْ عُبَيْدِ اللهِ بْنِ عُمَرَ الْمَدَنِيِّ، عَنْ نَافِعٍ، عَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ، عَنْ عُمَرَ بْنِ الْخَطَّابِ قَالَ:
مَا سَقَتِ الْأَنْهَارُ، وَالسَّمَاءُ، وَالْعُيُونُ فَالْعُشْرُ، وَمَا سُقِيَ بِالرِّشَاءِ، فَنِصْفُ الْعُشْرِ
Translation
✧ What the rivers, the sky, and the springs water: one-tenth; and what is watered by the rope and bucket (rishāʾ): half of one-tenth.
