✧ What the Sky Waters

عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ، عَنِ ابْنِ جُرَيْجٍ قَالَ: قُلْتُ لِعَطَاءٍ:
كَمْ فِيمَا يُسْقَى بِالْكَظَائِمِ، وَمَا كَانَ بَعْلًا، وَمَا كَانَ يُسْقَى بِالنِّجَالِ مِنْ نَخْلٍ أَوْ عِنَبٍ، أَوْ حَرْثٍ قَالَ: " الْعُشْرُ، قَالَ: قُلْتُ: فَكَمْ فِيمَا يُسْقَى بِالدِّلَاءِ، وَبِالْمَنَاضِحِ ؟ قَالَ: " نِصْفُ الْعُشْرِ
Translation
✧ How much is due on what is watered by kaẓāʾim, and what is baʿl, and what is watered by springs (nijāl), whether palm trees, grapevines, or tilled land? He said: "One-tenth." He said: I said: "Then how much is due on what is watered with buckets and with watering camels (manāḍiḥ)?" He said: "Half of one-tenth."
