✧ They Return the Surplus

عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ، عَنْ مَعْمَرٍ قَالَ:
قُلْتُ لِأَيُّوبَ: بِعْتُ ثَمَرِي بِمِائَتَيْ دِينَارٍ ؟ قَالَ: " فَفِيهَا فِي كُلِّ عَشَرَةِ دَنَانِيرَ دِينَارٌ إِذَا كَانَ قَدْ فَاتَ "، قَالَ: " فَإِنْ أَدْرَكَهُ أَخَذَ مِنَ الثَّمَرَةِ، وَاسْتَرْجَعَ الْمُبْتَاعُ مِنَ الْبَائِعِ عُشْرَ مَا أَعْطَاهُ
Translation
✧ I said to Ayyūb: I sold my fruit for two hundred dinars. He said: "Then on them, for every ten dinars, one dinar, if it has already been missed." He said: "But if he catches it, he takes from the fruit, and the buyer recovers from the seller one tenth of what he gave."
