عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ، عَنِ ابْنِ جُرَيْجٍ قَالَ:
قُلْتُ لِعَطَاءٍ: خُرِصَ عَلَيَّ مَالِي، ثُمَّ أَصَابَتْهُ جَائِحَةٌ فَهَلَكَ قَبْلَ أَنْ أُحْرِزَهُ، قَالَ: " لَيْسَ عَلَيْكَ شَيْءٌ "، قَالَ: قُلْتُ: فَوَضَعْتُهُ فِي الْجَرِينِ، فَسُرِقَ قَبْلَ أَنْ أُحْرِزَهُ ؟ قَالَ: " فَلَيْسَ عَلَيْكَ صَدَقَةٌ
Translation
✧ I said to ʿAṭāʾ: My property was estimated, then a calamity struck it and it was destroyed before I secured it. He said: "You owe nothing." I said: Then I placed it in the drying place and it was stolen before I secured it? He said: "Then no zakāh is due on you."
