عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ، عَنِ ابْنِ جُرَيْجٍ قَالَ: قَالَ لِي عَطَاءٌ:
فَحَقٌّ عَلَى الْخَارِصِ إِذَا تَكَاثَرَ سَيِّدُ الْمَالِ الْخَرْصَ أَنْ يُخَيِّرَهُ كَمَا خَيَّرَ ابْنُ رَوَاحَةَ، قَالَ: إِي لَعَمْرِي، وَأَيُّ سُنَّةٍ خَيْرٌ مِنْ سُنَّةِ النَّبِيِّ -ﷺ
Translation
Chain of narrators
machine translationʿAbd al-Razzāq, from Ibn Jurayj, who said: ʿAṭāʾ said to me:
✧ It is the duty of the estimator, when the owner of the property disputes the estimation, to give him the choice, as Ibn Rawāḥah gave the choice. He said: Yes, by my life, and what sunnah is better than the sunnah of the Prophet ﷺ?
