✧ For Whom Is Zakat

عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ، عَنِ ابْنِ جُرَيْجٍ، عَنْ عَطَاءٍ قَالَ: سَمِعْتُ ابْنَ عَبَّاسٍ يَقُولُ:
لَا بَأْسَ بِأَنْ تَضَعَ زَكَاتَكَ فِي مَوْضِعِهَا، إِذَا لَمْ تُعْطِ مِنْهَا أَحَدًا تَعُولُهُ أَنْتَ، فَلَا بَأْسَ بِهِ
Translation
✧ There is no harm in putting your zakat in its proper place. If you do not give any of it to someone you are supporting yourself, then there is no harm in it.
