عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ، عَنِ الثَّوْرِيِّ، عَنْ إِبْرَاهِيمَ بْنِ أَبِي حَفْصَةَ، قَالَ:
قُلْتُ لِسَعِيدِ بْنِ جُبَيْرٍ: أُعْطِي الْخَالَةَ مِنَ الزَّكَاةِ ؟ قَالَ: " نَعَمْ، مَا لَمْ تُغْلِقْ عَلَيْهَا بَابًا، يَعْنِي مَا لَمْ تَكُنْ فِي عِيَالِكَ
Translation
✧ I said to Sa'id b. Jubayr: Should I give the maternal aunt from the zakat? He said: Yes, as long as you do not close a door on her—meaning as long as she is not among your dependents.
