✧ If Its Zakat Is Paid, It Is Not a Treasure

عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ عَنْ عُبَيْدِ اللهِ بْنِ عُمَرَ، عَنْ نَافِعٍ، عَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ قَالَ:
مَا أَدَّى زَكَاتَهُ فَلَيْسَ بِكَنْزٍ وَإِنْ كَانَ تَحْتَ سَبْعِ أَرَضِينَ، وَمَا كَانَ ظَاهِرًا لَا يُؤَدَّى زَكَاتُهُ فَهُوَ كَنْزٌ
Translation
✧ Whatever has had its zakat paid is not a treasure, even if it is under seven layers of earth; and whatever is visible but its zakat is not paid is a treasure.
