Translation

✧ We say: the ornament of a sword, and the belt, and every gold and silver that you include with your wealth—when you pay zakat, you pay zakat on it. And when the foodstuffs of every kind are a wasq or two wasqs, nothing is due on them until one kind alone reaches five wasqs. However, gold and silver have a criterion unlike others: when it is ten mithqals of gold and one hundred dirhams, you pay zakat on it.
