عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ، عَنِ الْمُثَنَّى بْنِ الصَّبَّاحِ، عَنْ عَمْرِو بْنِ شُعَيْبٍ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، عَنْ جَدِّهِ،
أَنَّ امْرَأَتَيْنِ يَمَانِيَّتَيْنِ أَتَتَا رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ فَرَأَى فِي أَيْدِيهِمَا خَوَاتِمَ مِنْ ذَهَبٍ، فَقَالَ: " أَتُؤَدِّيَانِ زَكَاتَهُ ؟ " قَالَتَا: لَا، فَقَالَ: " أَيَسُرُّكُمَا أَنْ يُخَتِّمَكُمَا اللهُ يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ بِخَوَاتِيمَ مِنْ نَارٍ ؟ " أَوْ قَالَ: " أَيَسُرُّكُمَا أَنْ يُسَوِّرَكُمَا يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ بِسِوَارَيْنِ مِنْ نَارٍ ؟ " قَالَتَا: لَا، قَالَ: " فَأَدِّيَا زَكَاتَهُ
Translation
✧ Two Yemeni women came to the Messenger of God ﷺ and he saw on their hands rings of gold. He said, "Do you two pay its zakat?" They said, "No." He said, "Would it please you two that God seal you on the Day of Resurrection with rings of fire?" Or he said, "Would it please you two that He bracelet you on the Day of Resurrection with two bracelets of fire?" They said, "No." He said, "Then pay its zakat."
