✧ No charity is due on wealth until a year has passed over it

عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ، عَنْ مَعْمَرٍ، عَنِ الزُّهْرِيِّ قَالَ:
مَنِ اسْتَفَادَ مَالًا زَكَّاهُ مَعَ مَالِهِ
Translation
✧ Whoever acquires wealth, he pays zakat on it along with his [existing] wealth.
