✧ Charity of the slave and the mukatib

عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ، عَنِ ابْنِ جُرَيْجٍ قَالَ: أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو الزُّبَيْرِ، أَنَّهُ سَمِعَ جَابِرَ بْنَ عَبْدِ اللهِ يَقُولُ:

لَا صَدَقَةَ فِي مَالِ الْعَبْدِ، وَلَا الْمُكَاتَبِ حَتَّى يُعْتَقَا

Translation

✧ There is no sadaqah in the property of a slave, nor of a mukatib, until they are freed.
