✧ Charity of the slave and the mukatib

عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ، عَنْ مَعْمَرٍ، عَنِ الزُّهْرِيِّ قَالَ:
لَا صَدَقَةَ عَلَى عَبْدٍ فِي مَالِهِ، وَلَا عَلَى سَيِّدٍ فِي مَالِ عَبْدِهِ " قَالَ مَعْمَرٌ: وَكَتَبَ عُمَرُ بْنُ عَبْدِ الْعَزِيزِ فِي الْمُكَاتَبِ: " لَا يُؤْخَذُ مِنْهُ صَدَقَةٌ
Translation
✧ There is no sadaqah due from a slave on his property, nor from the master on the property of his slave." Ma'mar said: 'Umar b. 'Abd al-'Aziz wrote concerning the mukatib: "No sadaqah is taken from him."
