✧ Charity on the orphan's wealth, seeking it out, and giving his zakat

عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ، عَنْ مَعْمَرٍ، عَنِ الزُّهْرِيِّ، عَنْ سَالِمٍ
أَنَّ ابْنَ عُمَرَ كَانَ يَكُونُ عِنْدَهُ مَالُ الْيَتِيمِ فَيَسْتَسْلِفُهَا لِيُحْرِزَهَا مِنَ الْهَلَاكِ، وَهُوَ يُؤَدِّي زَكَاتَهَا مِنْ أَمْوَالِهِمْ
Translation
✧ Ibn Umar used to have an orphan's wealth in his possession, and he would borrow it to safeguard it from ruin, while paying its zakat from their own wealth.
