عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ، عَنْ مَعْمَرٍ، عَنْ أَيُّوبَ، أَوْ غَيْرِهِ - شَكَّ مَعْمَرٌ -، عَنِ ابْنِ سِيرِينَ قَالَ:
اسْتَعْمَلَ النَّبِيُّ ﷺ عُبَادَةَ بْنَ الصَّامِتِ، أَوْ سَعْدَ بْنَ عُبَادَةَ، وَقَالَ: احْذَرْ أَنْ تَجِيءَ يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ بِبَعِيرٍ تَحْمِلُهُ عَلَى ظَهْرِكَ لَهُ رُغَاءٌ، فَقَالَ: لَا أَجِيءُ بِهِ، وَلَا أَخْتَانُهُ فَلَمْ يَعْمَلْ
Translation
✧ The Prophet ﷺ appointed ʿUbāda b. al-Ṣāmit—or Saʿd b. ʿUbāda—and said: 'Beware of coming on the Day of Resurrection with a camel that you carry on your back, bellowing.' He said: 'I will not come with it, nor will I betray.' So he did not work.
