✧ Charity is not lawful for the family of Muhammad ﷺ

عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ، عَنِ ابْنِ جُرَيْجٍ قَالَ: حُدِّثْتُ عَنْ شَهْرِ بْنِ حَوْشَبٍ،
أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ رَفَعَ وَبَرَةً مِنَ الْأَرْضِ بَيْنَ إِصْبَعَيْهِ، فَقَالَ: إِنَّ الصَّدَقَةَ لَا تَحِلُّ لِي، وَلَا لِأَحَدٍ مِنْ أَهْلِ بَيْتِي، وَلَا مِثْلَ هَذِهِ الْوَبَرَةِ
Translation
✧ The Prophet ﷺ picked up a hair from the ground between his two fingers and said: 'Charity is not lawful for me, nor for anyone of my household, not even the like of this hair.'
