✧ Charity is not lawful for the family of Muhammad ﷺ

عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ، عَنْ مَعْمَرٍ، عَنْ هَمَّامِ بْنِ مُنَبِّهٍ، أَنَّهُ سَمِعَ أَبَا هُرَيْرَةَ يَقُولُ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ:
إِنِّي لَأَدْخُلُ بَيْتِي، وَأَجِدُ التَّمْرَةَ مُلْقَاةً عَلَى فِرَاشِي، فَلَوْلَا أَنِّي أَخْشَى أَنْ تَكُونَ مِنَ الصَّدَقَةِ لَأَكَلْتُهَا
Translation
✧ Indeed I enter my house and find a date thrown on my bed, and were it not that I fear it might be from charity, I would eat it.
