✧ Charity is not lawful for the family of Muhammad ﷺ

عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ، عَنِ الثَّوْرِيِّ، عَنْ يَزِيدَ بْنِ حَيَّانَ التَّيْمِيِّ قَالَ: سَمِعْتُ زَيْدَ بْنَ أَرْقَمَ يَقُولُ:
قِيلَ لَهُ: مَنْ آلُ مُحَمَّدٍ ﷺ ؟ قَالَ: " مَنْ تَحْرُمُ عَلَيْهِمُ الصَّدَقَةُ قِيلَ: مَنْ هُمْ ؟ قَالَ: " آلُ عَلِيٍّ، وَآلُ عَقِيلٍ، وَآلُ جَعْفَرٍ، وَآلُ عَبَّاسٍ
Translation
✧ It was said to him: 'Who are the family of Muhammad ﷺ?' He said: 'Those for whom charity is unlawful.' It was said: 'Who are they?' He said: 'The family of ʿAlī, the family of ʿAqīl, the family of Jaʿfar, and the family of ʿAbbās.'
