عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ، عَنِ ابْنِ جُرَيْجٍ قَالَ: حُدِّثْتُ حَدِيثًا رُفِعَ إِلَى عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ الْأَعْرَجِ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ،
أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ نَدَبَ النَّاسَ فِي الصَّدَقَةِ، فَأُتِيَ، فَقِيلَ: يَا رَسُولَ اللهِ هَذَا أَبُو جَهْمٍ، وَخَالِدُ بْنُ الْوَلِيدِ، وَعَبَّاسٌ عَمُّ رَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ قَدْ مَنَعُوا الصَّدَقَةَ، فَقَالَ النَّبِيُّ ﷺ: " مَا يَنْقِمُ مِنَّا إِلَّا أَنَّهُ كَانَ فَقِيرًا فَأَغْنَاهُ اللهُ وَرَسُولُهُ، وَأَمَّا خَالِدُ بْنُ الْوَلِيدِ فَقَدْ حَبَسَ أَدْرَاعَهَ وَأَعْتُدَهُ فِي سَبِيلِ اللهِ، وَأَمَّا عَبَّاسٌ عَمُّ رَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ فَهِيَ عَلَيْهِ وَمِثْلُهَا مَعَهَا
Translation
✧ The Prophet ﷺ called on the people for charity, and it was brought, and it was said: 'O Messenger of God, this is Abu Jahm, Khalid b. al-Walid, and 'Abbas, the uncle of the Messenger of God ﷺ; they have withheld charity.' The Prophet ﷺ said: 'He finds fault with us only because he was poor and God and His Messenger enriched him. As for Khalid b. al-Walid, he has withheld his coats of mail and his equipment in the way of God. As for 'Abbas, the uncle of the Messenger of God ﷺ, it is due upon him and the like of it with it.'
