✧ The obligation of charity upon the passing of a year

عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ، عَنْ مَعْمَرٍ قَالَ:
قُلْتُ لِلزُّهْرِيِّ: الْمَاشِيَةُ يُصَدِّقُهَا الرَّجُلُ يَمْكُثُ أَحَدَ عَشَرَ شَهْرًا ثُمَّ يَبِيعُهَا قَالَ: " الصَّدَقَةُ عَلَى الْمُبْتَاعِ
Translation
✧ I said to al-Zuhrī: A man pays zakāh on livestock, keeps it for eleven months, then sells it. He said: "The charity is upon the buyer."
