✧ The obligation of charity upon the passing of a year

عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ، عَنْ مَعْمَرٍ، عَنِ الزُّهْرِيِّ قَالَ:
مَنِ اسْتَفَادَ مَالًا زَكَّاهُ مَعَ مَالِهِ، وَإِذَا أَفَادَ مَالًا زَكَّاهُ حِينَ يُفِيدُهُ مَعَ مَالِهِ، كَانَ الْمُسْلِمُونَ يَسْتَحِبُّونَ ذَلِكَ ".
Translation
✧ Whoever acquired wealth, he would pay zakāh on it along with his other wealth, and if he acquired wealth, he would pay zakāh on it when he acquired it along with his wealth. The Muslims used to prefer that.
