عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ، عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ مُسْلِمٍ، وَغَيْرِهِ، عَنْ إِبْرَاهِيمَ بْنِ مَيْسَرَةَ، عَنْ رَجُلٍ سَمَّاهُ فَنَسِيتُهُ قَالَ:
سَأَلْتُ أَبَا هُرَيْرَةَ فِي أَيِّ الْمَالِ الصَّدَقَةُ ؟ قَالَ: " فِي الثُّلُثِ الْأَوْسَطِ، فَإِذَا أَتَاكَ الْمُصَدِّقُ، فَأَخْرِجْ لَهُ الثُّلُثَ الْأَوْسَطَ الْجَذَعَةَ، وَالثَّنِيَّةَ " قَالَ: " فَإِنْ أَخَذَ فَحَقٌّ لَهُ، وَإِنْ أَبَى فَلَا تَمْنَعْهُ، وَلَا تَسُبَّهُ، وَأَطْعِمْهُ مِنْ طَعَامِكَ، وَقُلْ لَهُ قَوْلًا مَعْرُوفًا
Translation
✧ I asked Abu Hurayrah: "In which part of wealth is zakah?" He said: "In the middle third. When the collector comes to you, bring out for him the middle third: the jadha'ah and the thaniyyah." He said: "If he takes it, it is his right; if he refuses, do not prevent him or insult him, but feed him from your food and speak to him kindly."
