✧ The Prophet's ﷺ age and the age of some of his Companions

عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ عُمَرَ، عَنْ رَبِيعَةَ بْنِ أَبِي عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ، عَنْ أَنَسِ بْنِ مَالِكٍ قَالَ:
كَانَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ لَيْسَ بِالطَّوِيلِ وَلَا بِالْقَصِيرِ، وَلَا بِالْجَعْدِ وَلَا بِالسَّبْطِ، وَلَا بِالْآدَمِ وَلَا بِالْأَبْيَضِ، أُنْزِلَ عَلَيْهِ الْوَحْيُ وَهُوَ ابْنُ أَرْبَعِينَ، وَأَقَامَ بِمَكَّةَ عَشْرًا، وَبِالْمَدِينَةِ عَشْرًا، وَقُبِضَ وَهُوَ ابْنُ سِتِّينَ سَنَةً، وَلَمْ يَكُنْ فِي رَأْسِهِ وَلَا فِي لِحْيَتِهِ عِشْرُونَ شَعَرَةً بَيْضَاءَ
Translation
✧ The Messenger of Allah ﷺ was neither tall nor short, neither curly-haired nor straight-haired, neither dark brown nor white. Revelation came down upon him when he was forty. He stayed in Makkah for ten years and in Madinah for ten years, and he was taken at the age of sixty. He did not have twenty white hairs on his head or in his beard.
