Translation
✧ That is Munkar and Nakir. They come out with fire in their mouths and eyes, wearing haircloth, and the earth trembles with them, until when he is cut off from his intellect and cannot reason anything with his intellect except what Allah puts upon his tongue, they say: 'Who is your Lord?' He says: 'Allah.' 'What is your religion?' He says: 'Islam.' 'Who is your Prophet?' He says: 'Muhammad ﷺ.' They say: 'How do you know? Have you seen him?' He says: 'No, but the Book of Allah came with that, so I believed in it and affirmed it.' They say: 'You have spoken truthfully. By Allah, upon that you lived, upon that you died, and upon that you will be resurrected, if Allah wills. Look, may Allah have mercy on you, at what Allah has turned away from you of the Fire, and look at your seat in Paradise.' Then his shroud is replaced with garments from the garments of Paradise, and his grave is widened for him as far as his sight reaches, and an opening is made between him and Paradise from which its breeze, fragrance, coolness, and scent enter upon him. As for the hypocrite, he is struck with an iron club one blow, and he sits up. They say to him: 'Who is your Lord?' He says: 'Allah.' 'What is your religion?' He says: 'Islam.' 'Who is your Prophet?' He says: 'Muhammad.' They say: 'Why do you say that? Have you seen him?' He says: 'No, by Allah, I do not know.'
