أَخْبَرَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ قَالَ: أَخْبَرَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ الْعَلَاءِ، عَنِ ابْنِ عَجْلَانَ، عَنْ زَيْدِ بْنِ أَسْلَمَ قَالَ:
مَرَّ أَبُو هُرَيْرَةَ وَصَاحِبٌ لَهُ عَلَى قَبْرٍ فَقَالَ أَبُو هُرَيْرَةَ: سَلِّمْ، فَقَالَ الرَّجُلُ: أُسَلِّمُ عَلَى الْقَبْرِ ؟ فَقَالَ أَبُو هُرَيْرَةَ: إِنْ كَانَ رَآكَ فِي الدُّنْيَا يَوْمًا قَطُّ إِنَّهُ لَيَعْرِفُكَ الْآنَ
Translation
✧ Abu Hurayrah and a companion of his passed by a grave. Abu Hurayrah said: "Greet it." The man said: "Should I greet a grave?" Abu Hurayrah said: "If he ever saw you in this world, even for a single day, he would surely recognize you now."
