عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ، عَنِ ابْنِ جُرَيْجٍ، عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ قَيْسِ بْنِ مَخْرَمَةَ، عَنْ عَائِشَةَ قَالَتْ:
كُنْتُ سَأَلْتُ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ كَيْفَ نَقُولُ فِي التَّسْلِيمِ عَلَى الْقُبُورِ فَقَالَ: قُولِي: السَّلَامُ عَلَى أَهْلِ الدِّيَارِ مِنَ الْمُؤْمِنِينَ وَالْمُسْلِمِينَ، وَيَرْحَمُ اللهُ الْمُسْتَقْدِمِينَ مِنَّا وَالْمُسْتَأْخِرِينَ، وَإِنَّا إِنْ شَاءَ اللهُ بِكُمْ لَلَاحِقُونَ
Translation
✧ I asked the Prophet ﷺ how we should greet the graves. He said: "Say: Peace be upon the dwellers of these abodes, from the believers and the Muslims, and may Allah have mercy on those of us who have gone before and those who remain behind, and we, if Allah wills, shall join you."
