✧ Patience, weeping, and wailing

عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ، عَنِ ابْنِ عُيَيْنَةَ، عَنْ حُصَيْنِ بْنِ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ، عَنِ الشَّعْبِيِّ قَالَ:
أُغْمِيَ عَلَى ابْنِ رَوَاحَةَ، فَجَعَلَتِ امْرَأَتُهُ تَقُولُ: وَا كَذَا وَا كَذَا، فَلَمَّا أَفَاقَ قَالَ: " مَا قُلْتِ مِنْ شَيْءٍ إِلَّا يُقَالُ لِي: أَكَذَلِكَ أَنْتَ ؟ فَأَقُولُ: لَا
Translation
✧ Ibn Rawahah lost consciousness, and his wife began saying: “Woe for such and such! Woe for such and such!” When he regained consciousness, he said: “There is nothing you said except that it is said to me, ‘Are you really like that?’ and I say, ‘No.’”
