✧ The prayer over the martyr and washing him

عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ، عَنِ ابْنِ جُرَيْجٍ قَالَ: أَخْبَرَنِي عَبْدُ الْكَرِيمِ الْجَزَرِيُّ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ زَيْدٍ قَالَ:
إِذَا مَاتَ الشَّهِيدُ فِي الْمَعْرَكَةِ دُفِنَ كَمَا هُوَ، فَإِنْ مَاتَ بَعْدَمَا يُنْقَلَبُ بِهِ صُنِعَ كَمَا صُنِعَ بِالْآخَرِ
Translation
✧ When a martyr dies on the battlefield, he is buried as he is. If he dies after being carried away, he is treated as the other (dead) are treated.
