✧ When the obligatory prayer and the funeral coincide

عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ، عَنْ مَعْمَرٍ قَالَ: بَلَغَنِي أَنَّ عَلِيًّا قَالَ:
إِذَا حَضَرَتِ الْجِنَازَةُ وَصَلَاةُ الْمَكْتُوبَةِ فَابْدَءُوا بِالْمَكْتُوبَةِ
Translation
✧ When the funeral and the obligatory prayer coincide, begin with the obligatory prayer.
