عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ، عَنِ النُّعْمَانِ قَالَ: سَمِعْتُ طَاوُسًا،
سُئِلَ عَنْ رَكِيَّةٍ بَيْنَ الْقُبُورِ فَكَرِهَ أَنْ يُشْرَبَ مِنْهَا وَلَا يُتَوَضَّأَ، قُلْتُ: مَا الرَّكِيَّةُ ؟ قَالَ: يَقُولُ بَعْضُهُمْ: هُوَ الْبِئْرُ، وَبَعْضُهُمْ يَقُولُ: هُوَ الْغَدِيرُ يَكُونُ بَيْنَ الْقُبُورِ، قُلْتُ: فَأَيُّهُمَا تَقُولُهُ ؟ قَالَ: نَقُولُ: هُوَ الْبِئْرُ، قُلْتُ: أَفَتَكْرَهُ أَنْ تَتَوَضَّأَ مِنْهَا ؟ قَالَ: نَعَمْ، قُلْتُ: فَلِمَ ؟ قَالَ: " لِأَنَّ الْقُبُورَ إِذَا كَثُرَ الْغَيْثُ غَرِقَتْ، فَلِذَلِكَ أَكْرَهُ الْوُضُوءَ مِنْهَا
Translation
✧ He was asked about a rakīyah among graves, and he disliked drinking from it or performing ablution from it. I said: 'What is a rakīyah?' He said: 'Some say it is a well, others say it is a pool that exists among graves.' I asked: 'Which do you say?' He said: 'We say it is a well.' I asked: 'Do you dislike performing ablution from it?' He said: 'Yes.' I asked: 'Why?' He said: 'Because when rain is heavy, graves become submerged, and therefore I dislike ablution from it.'
