✧ Recitation and supplication in the prayer over the deceased

عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ، عَنْ أَبِي إِسْحَاقَ، عَنْ رَجُلٍ، مِنْ مُزَيْنَةَ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ
فِي الْقَوْلِ عَلَى الْمَيِّتِ: اللَّهُمَّ عَبْدُكَ وَابْنُ عَبْدِكَ، أَنْتَ خَلَقْتَهُ وَأَنْتَ قَبَضْتَ رُوحَهُ، هَدَيْتَهُ لِلْإِسْلَامِ، وَأَنْتَ أَعْلَمُ بِسِرِّهِ وَعَلَانِيَتِهِ، وَجِئْنَا نَشْفَعُ لَهُ فَاغْفِرْ لَهُ
Translation
✧ Regarding what is said over the deceased: O Allah, Your servant and the son of Your servant. You created him and You took his soul. You guided him to Islam, and You know best his inner and outward state. We have come to intercede for him, so forgive him.
