✧ The takbir over the funeral

عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ، عَنِ ابْنِ جُرَيْجٍ قَالَ: أَخْبَرَنِي عَطَاءٌ، أَنَّهُ سَمِعَ جَابِرَ بْنَ عَبْدِ اللهِ يَقُولُ: قَالَ النَّبِيُّ ﷺ:
تُوُفِّيَ الْيَوْمَ رَجُلٌ صَالِحٌ مِنَ الْحَبَشِ أَصْحَمَةُ، هَلُمَّ فَصَلُّوا عَلَيْهِ قَالَ: فَصَفَفْنَا فَصَلَّى النَّبِيُّ ﷺ وَنَحْنُ مَعَهُ
Translation
✧ Today a righteous man of the Abyssinians, Ashamah, has died. Come and pray over him. He said: So we formed rows, and the Prophet ﷺ prayed, and we were with him.
