✧ The takbir over the funeral

عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ، عَنِ ابْنِ جُرَيْجٍ قَالَ: أَخْبَرَنِي عَبْدُ الْحَمِيدِ بْنُ جُبَيْرٍ، أَنَّهُ سَمِعَ ابْنَ الْمُسَيِّبِ يَقُولُ:
صَلَّى النَّبِيُّ ﷺ فِي مَوْضِعِ الْجِنَازَةِ فَكَبَّرَ أَرْبَعَ تَكْبِيرَاتٍ، ثُمَّ قَالَ: أَتَدْرُونَ عَلَى مَنْ صَلَّيْتُ ؟ " قَالُوا: لَا، قَالَ: " عَلَى أَصْحَمَةَ
Translation
✧ The Prophet ﷺ prayed at the place of the funeral and said the takbir four times, then said: 'Do you know over whom I prayed?' They said: 'No.' He said: 'Over Ashamah.'
