✧ Standing when one sees a funeral

عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ، عَنْ مَعْمَرٍ، وَغَيْرِهِ، عَنْ يَحْيَى بْنِ أَبِي كَثِيرٍ، عَنْ أَبِي سَلَمَةَ بْنِ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ، عَنْ أَبِي سَعِيدٍ الْخُدْرِيِّ قَالَ:
إِذَا مَرَّتْ بِكَ جِنَازَةٌ فَقُمْ، فَإِنِ اتَّبَعْتَهَا فَلَا تَجْلِسْ حَتَّى تُوضَعَ
Translation
✧ If a funeral bier passes by you, stand up; and if you follow it, do not sit down until it is put down.
