✧ Standing when one sees a funeral

عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ، عَنِ ابْنِ عُيَيْنَةَ، عَنْ زَكَرِيَّا، عَنِ الشَّعْبِيِّ،
وَكَانَ مَرْوَانُ جَالِسًا وَمَعَهُ أَبُو سَعِيدٍ الْخُدْرِيُّ، فَمَرَّتْ جِنَازَةٌ، فَقَامَ، فَقَالَ مَرْوَانُ: مَا هَذَا ؟ فَقَالَ: أَمَرَنَا، يَعْنِي النَّبِيَّ ﷺ قَالَ: فَهَاتِ إِذًا
Translation
✧ Marwan was sitting, and with him was Abu Sa'id al-Khudri, when a funeral passed by, so he stood up. Marwan said: "What is this?" He said: "He commanded us," meaning the Prophet ﷺ. He said: "Then bring me evidence for that."
