✧ Wiping Over Bandages and Wounds

عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ عَنْ مَعْمَرٍ قَالَ: أَخْبَرَنِي عَاصِمُ بْنُ سُلَيْمَانَ قَالَ:
دَخَلْنَا عَلَى أَبِي الْعَالِيَةِ الرِّيَاحِيِّ وَهُوَ وَجِعٌ فَوَضَّؤُوهُ، فَلَمَّا بَقِيَتْ إِحْدَى رِجْلَيْهِ قَالَ: امْسَحُوا عَلَى هَذِهِ فَإِنَّهَا مَرِيضَةٌ وَكَانَ بِهَا حُمْرَةٌ. وَالْحُمْرَةُ: الْوَرَمُ
Translation
✧ We entered upon Abu al-'Aliyah al-Riyahi while he was in pain, and they performed ablution for him. When one of his feet remained, he said: Wipe over this one, for it is sick; it had redness on it. And redness is swelling.
