عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ عَنِ ابْنِ جُرَيْجٍ قَالَ:
قُلْتُ لِعَطَاءٍ: أَرَأَيْتَ إِنِ اشْتَكَيْتُ أُذُنِي فَاشْتَدَّ عَلَيَّ أَنْ أَغْسِلَهَا قَالَ: لَا تُنَقِّهَا وَأَمِسَّهَا الْمَاءَ فَقَطَّ
Translation
✧ I said to 'Ata': What do you think if my ear hurts and it becomes hard for me to wash it? He said: Do not cleanse it thoroughly; just let water touch it.
