عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ، عَنِ ابْنِ جُرَيْجٍ قَالَ: قُلْتُ لِعَطَاءٍ:
أَيُكْرَهُ الْمِسْكُ حَنُوطًا ؟ قَالَ: نَعَمْ قَالَ: قُلْتُ: فَالْعَنْبَرُ ؟ قَالَ: " لَا، إِنَّمَا الْعَنْبَرُ وَالْمِسْكُ قَطْرَةُ دَابَّةٍ ".
Translation

✧ Is musk disliked as a hanut? He said: 'Yes.' I said: 'What about ambergris?' He said: 'No. Ambergris and musk are but a drop from an animal.'
